Ingredients
- 1 box cooked Lasagna Noodles
- 32 oz. Tub of Ricotta Cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 3 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning (or dried oregano and basil)
- 32 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Large Jar (67 oz.) Spaghetti Sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 lb. cooked sweet Italian sausage
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 375º
- Place drained noodles in cold water to prevent them from sticking together.
- Set aside 1.5 cup of shredded mozzarella for top.
- Mix together ricotta, parmesan, eggs, Italian Seasoning, mozzarella, and Salt & pepper.
- Using a ladle or large spoon, spoon out enough sauce to coat the bottom of the lasagna pan.
- Depending on the width of your pan, lay 3-4 noodles over the sauce.
- Drop 6-8 spoonfuls of cheese mixture onto noodles, carefully spread out.
- If using Italian sausage, crumble a big handful onto the cheese layer.
- Ladle another layer of sauce on top of cheese layer.
- Repeat layers until pan is full.
- Add top layer of noodles, ladle sauce over top, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle reserved mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover loosely with aluminum foil, bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let sit for 10-20 minutes before serving.
