Our Anti Fog Window Masks have gone through a few versions before they became one of our best sellers. We went through five prototype revisions before we created the first pattern for our version of the clear window mask. The first version sat a little too close to the lips for comfort, so we re-designed the pattern to make them sit out away from the face more. With the second version, we added the adjustable elastic, ensuring a good fit for each age range. The third version, adding a permanent anti fog layer. Making these lip reading window masks truly anti fog (while keeping the vinyl flexible enough for production and comfortable wear) was a big hurdle.

Yes, there are tricks and products to use to help with the regular vinyl window fogging issue, but they are all temporary, and kind of a pain to apply & reapply. After trying many types of materials, we finally found a permanent, thin, flexible anti fog plastic material that can be applied to the clear vinyl before cutting out the windows used for the masks.

The latest version, we have added our brand name to each mask, so you know you are getting an authentic ConnieFunaroDesign product. We have also added a size stamp inside each kids size mask, so you can quickly and easily tell which size you are grabbing if you have 2 or more of the same pattern in different sizes, for different age kids.

We are currently working on offering some options to customize these masks with your child’s name on the inside. As of 05/27/2021, adding a name is not available as an option on the product page, but if you would like your child’s name inside any mask we offer, you can easily submit a custom order.
